Cauliflower (cut into florets) 1/2 kg Small potatoes 1/4 kg Salt to taste Ghee Grind: Cumin seeds 1 tsp Ginger 1/2? piece Cloves of garlic 2 Medium onion 1 Large tomato 1 Red chilli 1 Black cardamom 1 Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Coriander powder 1/2 tsp

Methods/steps

Heat 2 tbsps. ghee and fry the cauliflower pieces till brown in colour. Peel the potatoes and deep-fry them. Then heat 1 tbsps. ghee and fry the ground masala; stirring all the time till rich brown in colour. Add the fried vegetables and salt. Cover with a lid. Cook on a low flame; without adding any water; till tender.
