Baked Mince Mutton Meat Loaf with Tomato SauceIngredientsMinced mutton 400 gms
Slices bread (crusts removed) 2
Small onion (minced) 1
Tomato soup 1 tin
pepper and salt
Beaten eggs 1 tin
Chopped parsley 1 tbsp
Worcester sauce 1/2 tsp
Crushed clove of garlic 1
Salt to taste
For sauce:
Minced mutton 400 gms
Chopped onion 1
Chopped cloves of garlic pepper and salt 2
Worcester sauce A dash
Salt to taste
Methods/stepsSoak the bread in the tomato soup; then mix all the ingredients well together. Put the mixture into a 800 gm loaf tin. Bake at 375 deg. F. for 30 minutes; reduce heat to 350 deg. F and bake for another 30 minutes then cut into thick slices. Serve with tomato sauce poured over it. To make the sauce; fry till the onion softens. Add the tomatoes; skinned and quartered; pepper; salt and worcester sauce. Cook on low flame; mash the tomatoes. Simmer until sauce is thick. Reviews |
