Baked Spaghetti with CornIngredientsFor the corn layer:
Boiled corn 1 cup
Tomatoes and onions; chopped 1/2 cup each
Green chilli; chopped 1
Cheese; grated 50 gm
Butter 1 tbsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Salt and pepper to taste
For the spaghetti layer:
Crushed spaghetti and tomato puree 1 cup each
Green chilli; chopped 1
Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
Water 4 cups
Oil 2 tbsp
Breadcrumbs and onion; chopped 1/2 cup each
Cream and cheese 1 tsp each
Salt; pepper and chilli powder to taste
Methods/stepsCook the spaghetti in the water till soft; then drain off the excess water. Heat the oil in a saucepan and fry the onions. Add the tomato puree; green chilli; breadcrumbs; tomato sauce; salt; pepper and chilli powder. Add the spaghetti to the above mixture. Toss well. For the corn layer; heat the oil; fry the onions; add the green chilli and fry for a few minutes till they turn transparent. Add the corn; tomatoes; cheese and butter. Add the salt and pepper and remove from the heat. Grease a baking dish. Spread the corn layer. Top it with the spaghetti layer; then spread the cream and cheese on top. Bake for 10 minutes at 200?C.
