Bean Sprout with Capsicum and VegetablesIngredientsBean sprout 1 cup
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Red chillies 2
Green pepper; diced 1
Flakes garlic; crushed 3
Ginger; crushed 1 piece
Soya sauce 1/2 tbsp
Sugar 1/4 tsp
Spring onion; chopped 1
Carrot; cut lengthwise 1/2 cup
Beans; cut lengthwise 1/4 cup
Ajinomoto 1/2 tsp
Small onion; chopped 1
Oil for cooking 4 tsp
Almonds; roughly chopped 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper to taste
Methods/stepsMix the bean sprouts with the cornflour and salt and pepper. Keep aside. Heat half the oil in a pan and fry the almonds over medium heat; then remove onto a plate. Add the carrots; beans and capsicum to the oil left in the pan and cook for one minute. Remove from the heat. Heat the remaining oil; add the garlic; onion; ginger; chillies and bean sprouts and fry for one minute. Then add the cooked vegetables and mix well. Now add the soya sauce; sugar; spring onion and ajinomoto. Cook for one minute; then stir in the fried almonds. Serve hot. Reviews |
