Bengali Style Mustard FishIngredientsTurmeric 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Wholegrain mustard 2 tbsp
Black mustard seeds 2 tsp
Sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Juice of lime 1
Salt
Cod fillets(each 250 g) 4
Coriander leaves to garnish
Methods/stepsLine a baking sheet with nonstick baking paper. Using a mortar and pestle; crush the turmeric; chilli powder; whole grain mustard and black mustard seeds until fairly well combined. Add the oil and lime juice and season well. Stir to mix thoroughly. Place the fish fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the mustard mixture over the fish and put it into a preheated oven; 200 degree C; Gas Mark 6; and cook for 15-20 mintues or until cooked through. Remove from the oven and serve immediately; garnished with chopped coriander. Reviews |
