Soft margarine 3/4 cup Self rising flour 1 1/4 cups Light corn syrup 1/2 cup Eggs 3 Unsweetened cocoa 1/4 cup Chocolate fudge sauce: Dark chocolate 3 1/2 ounces Sweetend condensed milk 1/2 cup Heavy cream 4 tbsp

Methods/steps

Lightly grease a 5 cup heatproof bowl. Place the ingredients for the sponge in a mixing bowl and beat until well combined and smooth. Spoon into the preheated bowl and level the top. Cover with baking parchment and tie a pleated sheet of foil over the bowl. Steam for 1 1/2-2 hours; until the pudding is cooked and springy to the touch. To make the sauce; break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a small pan with the condensed milk. Heat gently; stirring until the chocolate melts. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the heavy cream; mixing well. To serve the pudding; turn it out onto a serving plate and pour over a little of the chocolate fudge sauce. Serve the remaining sauce separately.
