Degchi Soola MurghIngredientsChicken; cut into pieces 1 kg
Yoghurt (dahi); beaten 1 1/4 cups/ 250 gm
Salt to taste
Kachri powder 2 tbsp / 30 gm
Garlic (lasan) paste 4 tbsp / 60 gm
Red chilli powder 3 tbsp / 45 gm
Oil 1 ? cups / 250 ml
Water 2-3 tbsp / 30-45 ml
Methods/stepsMarinate the chicken with yoghurt; kachri powder and salt. Keep aside for 1-2 hours. Mix together the chicken; garlic paste; red chilli powder and oil. Transfer to a pan and cook over a low flame adding water gradually at intervals; till the chicken becomes tender. Transfer to a heat-proof dish. Smoke with clarified butter and cloves for a few minutes and then serve immediately. Reviews |
