Vermicelli 1-2 packets or as desired Strands saffron 10-15 Skimmed Milk 1 1/2 litre Sugar 8 tbsp Raisins 20 Green Cardamom Powder 1 tsp Almond silvers(toasted) 1 tbsp

Methods/steps

Heat a non stick pan & roast vermicelli on moderate heat till lightly browned. Pour milk into a deep pan & bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer till reduced to half quantity. Add sugar and cook till it desolves. Add vermicelli and raisins and cook for 2 minutes. Take the pan off the heat. Add saffron and green cardamom powders and stir well. Serve hot or cold, decorate with toasted almond silvers.
